The mission of Transitions is to help individuals, families, and Communities to break the cycles of substance abuse, family abuse, violence, crime and poverty.

We assist the indigent, the uninsured, the incarcerated, the homeless and the working poor of Kentucky.

Since 1970, Transitions has helped individuals, families and communities break the cycles of substance abuse, family abuse, violence, crime and poverty.

To carry out our mission, we provide the following to Kentucky residents:
* Residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment
* Non-medical detoxification
* Halfway house services
* Assessments
* Homeless services and housing

Almost all agency programs are located in Northern Kentucky.

Non-Medical Detoxification

We offer a 7-10 day program for men and women to safely withdraw from alcohol and other drugs. Clients are introduced to self-help groups and referred for further treatment.

The unit admits Kentucky residents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
